Males All of our breeding females are excellent mothers, that being the top priority in any females we buy. This is something I insist on after first making sure they have correct conformation and decent fiber. Of these three qualities in breeding, better fiber is the easiest to breed in, conformation next and mothering abilities the hardest. I consider mothering abilities to be easy births, ease in getting pregnant, being able to hold a pregnancy, and a lot of milk. The male sexual traits of large testicles and strong libido are also passed through their dams. In conformation, straight legs are the hardest to breed in and all of our alpacas do have straight legs. None of our alpacas have ever produced a genetic defect or any other significant problem. All of our alpacas come with a full reproductive guarantee, competent and onging farm support and our sincere thanks for trusting and believing in us and the alpacas we are breeding for. Full Peruvian. A big sturdy girl, Trillium gives birth easily and has a lot of milk. She has had a rose gray cria and her 07 cria is white girl Catalina. She is conformationally correct, good teeth. Trilliam delivered her 2008 cria on 10/6, a female cria, solid medium brown, weighing in at 17.5 pounds. Cria is vigorous, up and nursing, very alert and, of course, cute as a button!

Full Peruvian - half Accoyo. Big laid-back female. She looks bay black but when I part her fiber, even down on her legs, she's black or an amazingly dark dark brown. Excellent conformation. Her first cria by Coal Man of Suri Peak is a true black boy born 6/27/08, Dalton the Black. Nicola is being bred this year to The Black Prince, a Mahogany Prince son, owned by Robin Day at Luna Rosa Ranch. This should be an exciting match too!

Glory Daze is the prettiest female! She is also the friendliest, letting people touch her when she's not on a lead. Very nice conformation and teeth and it looks like she has good lock structure although she was shorn a few months before I purchased her. Glory looks so much like a vicuna! Glory Daze is Bolivan, a daughter of Andy Tillman's Inspiration of Bolivia! She is bred to Peruvian Cortez, a full brother of Luz Nocturna, aka The Locksmith, Randy Wellman's super champion male who came from our farm. Glory has been bred for a 2009 cria by the fabulous Macgyver son-MacLuster!

Being both out of Querida and by a Macgyver son, Seurette is friendly, Friendly, FRIENDLY and very sweet. Seurette is correct in all ways with tight lock structure. She is vicuna-colored, very nice. She is being bred to Jamu, a True Black, for a 2009 cria. Jamu is owned by Dr Dick and Nancy Walker at Supersuris Alpacas. We are excited to see what these two can produce.

Michelle is a white girl with a small fawn marking on her neck. She is one half Peruvian through Cortez and one half Bolivian through her dam, Querida. Catalina is one of those whites who is just blindingly white! When she was shorn for the first time,even the shearer made comment about her great luster and bystanders wanted to know her name. She is a Macgyver grandaughter on her sire's side and her dam, Trillium, is a Rameses (Aureo) daughter. There is lots of color in her background and as we alpaca breeders are coming to realize-white is not always white!

Jessie is a light fawn Full Peruvian, grandson of Macgyver on his sire's side and Pperuvian Uribe on his dam's side. He has a double dose of Uribe as Uribe is also Cortez's grandfather. This is not too close a bloodline breeding. Jessie is perfect in every way. He is very sweet and friendly, easily haltered and led. He should make a wonderful stud.

Brown Saddle is mostly white with light fawn on his back and back of his neck. He is almost full Peruvian with only Betty's dam Querida being Bolivian. But Querida brings lots of good genetics to the mix as she is the sire of MacLuster, top stud for Supersuris and Suri Peak. Blaze is a Pperuvian Juan son. Saddle should make a great herdsire!

Leroy is a Macgyver grandson with MacLuster, the pride of Supersuris and Suri Peak, as his sire. Early on, Leroy suffered a skin condition which left the back of his neck fairly devoid of fiber, but that would not stop him from being a wonderful stud as he does have great lock and luster in his blanket. He is one-half Bolivian with his dam being a Black Ice of Bolivia daughter.

Nice sturdy girl, started out black at birth, then went to maroon and after shearing this year, she's now bay black with great crimp! UPDATE, 2006: She is now maroon again - adeep dark burgundy that is highly sought after As usual at our farm, no teeth or conformation defects - all are A-One! Georgia Belle's dam, also the mother of Sumiko, has crias who gain over a pound a day and just slide out. With her dam's 2005 cria, she went into labor, had her cria, cria was up and standing, ALL WITHIN 15 MINUTES! Her dam is also incredibly attentive to crias. These traits are highly heritable and Georgia Belle has all of them. Very attentive to her baby and lots of milk.

Hey Baby is a full Peruvian, half Accoyo daughter of our Peruvian Cortez and Kelowna's Token of Aztec, both extremely dense. She is an accidental F-1, a product of Cortez' almost magic ability to escape fencing! Hey Baby is amazingly dense with an incredible amount of luster. I think Hey Baby will produce wonderful babies! I'd breed her to a suri male who produces only suris. Although her f-1-ness was a complete accident, she really has a lot of the wonderful fiber traits of Hemingway and Joimont Virachoca except she has no crimp - from the huacayas she gets fineness and even luster!
